The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has removed Black History Month signs and taken other steps to conform with President Donald Trump’s anti-DEI executive orders since Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent took over the agency.
The CFPB had posted Black History Month posters behind glass frames next to elevator banks in the agency’s Washington headquarters. As of Wednesday, those posters were gone, according to pictures obtained by Bloomberg Law and a person familiar with the matter who asked to remain anonymous.
