MoneyLion Technologies Inc. and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau are in negotiations to resolve a lawsuit alleging the digital finance platform violated the Military Lending Act.
Judge John P. Cronan of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on Monday paused discovery in the litigation while the CFPB and MoneyLion move forward with talks.
MoneyLion and the CFPB filed a joint motion June 20 to stay discovery. The CFPB and MoneyLion didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
