Fort Worth, Texas, isn’t the right venue for a challenge to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s credit card late fee rule because no major banks are based there, the agency told the federal judge overseeing the case.

The only plaintiff located in Fort Worth is the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, the federal consumer finance watchdog said in a brief filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
