CaixaBank Is Considering a Miami Office for Wealth Management

CaixaBank SA is considering opening a wealth management office in Miami amid increasing demand for private banking services from Latin American clients.

“We’re receiving a very significant inflow of people from Latin America in Spain, and that is leading us to think whether we should develop a presence in, as you say, Miami,” Chief Executive Officer Gonzalo Gortazar said in an interview on Bloomberg TV. “That’s something that we have under consideration.”
