The Senate passed a $2 trillion economic relief bill last night after a few days of delays, sending it to the House, where leaders aim to pass the measure tomorrow.
The Senate voted 96-0 in favor of the bill, which would send many Americans $1,200, add $600 per week onto people’s unemployment benefits, spend $500 billion to inject trillions into the economy from the Federal Reserve, and send hundreds of billions of dollars to state and local governments.
