BofA, BNY Seek to Dismiss Suit Over Jeffrey Epstein Ties (1)

Bank of America Corp. and Bank of New York Mellon Corp.asked a federal judge to throw out a proposed class-action lawsuit accusing the company of aiding in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking scheme.

Lawyers for an unnamed Epstein victim filed lawsuitsagainst the two banks in federal court in Manhattan earlier this month, alleging the companies processed payments from accounts they knew were being used to further Epstein’s criminal scheme.
