BNY Mellon Sues Ex-Managers for Luring Clients to Fifth Third

Bank of New York Mellon Corp. sued a team of former wealth managers who left the company to join Fifth Third Wealth Advisors, saying they used confidential information to solicit clients.

The suit, filed Friday in federal court in Manhattan, alleges the quartet — Brad Heagy, Lea LeVines, Kari Baer and Susan Kubar — worked together as a team in its Tampa office and together managed more than $1.2 billion in assets before they announced their intention to resign.
