Bank of Montreal is bolstering its business managing lawyers’ money, hiring a group of 18 banking and investment professionals from Citi’s Law Firm Group.
The hires include Joe Ryan, who had been global head of the law firm group at Citi and recently served as interim head of Citi’s broader Wealth at Work unit. Ryan will serve as head of the legal advisory group for BMO US Wealth Management’s Law Firm Group.
