Bank of America to Open Branches in Nine New Markets by 2026

Bank of America Corp. plans to open branches in nine new markets by 2026, including New Orleans, Milwaukee and Boise, Idaho.

The expansion includes four states that don’t currently have a branch: Nebraska, Wisconsin, Alabama and Louisiana, according to a statement released Tuesday. When the project is completed, the bank will have facilities in more than 200 markets in 39 states.

“Although more clients are using our digital-banking capabilities, many still visit our centers for in-person conversations about some of their more complex financial needs,” Aron Levine, the bank’s president of preferred banking, said in the statement.
