Atlanta Fed Board Announces Search for Next Bank President

The board of directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta has launched a search for the regional bank’s next president, following news that President Raphael Bostic will retire at the end of February.

Under the Federal Reserve Act, leaders of regional Fed banks are chosen by the bank’s Class B and C directors, or those not affiliated with a supervised financial institution. The choice must be approved by the Fed’s Board of Governors in Washington.
