Amazon Teams Up With Barclays to Offer Installment Plans in U.K.

Amazon.com Inc.’s U.K. customers will be able to pay in monthly installments following a tie-up between the online retailer and Barclays Plc.

Purchases of 100 pounds ($133) or more on Amazon will be eligible for the new flexible payment method, which can be used on millions of products including from small businesses selling on Amazon, according to a statement Friday. British customers can apply for a reusable credit account from Barclays, which then lets buyers spread out the cost from between three months to four years.
