ABN Amro to Buy NIBC Bank From Blackstone for €960 Million (2)

ABN Amro Bank NV agreed to acquire NIBC Bank from Blackstone Inc. for about €960 million ($1.11 billion) in the biggest acquisition by the Dutch lender since it was re-listed on the stock exchange a decade ago.

The deal will deliver a return of about 18% by 2029 on the capital that ABN Amro is investing and increases its scale in Dutch retail banking as well as the German and Belgian savings markets, the lender said in a statement in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
