In certain ways, last week’s attack on the home of Sam Altman could evoke memories of the 2024 killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Prosecutors allege a 20-year-old man by the name of Daniel Moreno-Gama threw a Molotov cocktail near the gate of the OpenAI CEO’s home. They also say they have evidence the incident was ideologically motivated.
