Warren Probes Google, Microsoft AI Partnerships

Senate Democrat Elizabeth Warren writes to the CEOs of Google, Anthropic, Microsoft and OpenAI with concerns that their respective partnerships may violate antitrust laws, according to a statement.

• Such partnerships, “if left unchecked,” could accelerate the consolidation of the AI sector, Warren writes
• The partnerships can involve minority stakes and significant investment from cloud service providers, the statement says
