Teleperformance Shares Drop on Slower Growth During AI Pivot

Shares of French call-center company Teleperformance SE dropped as much as 15% on Wednesday after the company forecast slower-than-expected growth as it adapts to the artificial intelligence era.

Teleperformance plans to invest €600 million ($691 million) in AI partnerships and acquisitions over the next three years, as part of an effort to augment human customer service agents, the company said on a media call ahead of its capital markets day. Teleperformance also said it would return to 4% to 6% annual organic sales growth in 2028. The company grew 2.6% in 2024.
