No federal agencies have been impacted by the Microsoft email server cyber breach last week, a Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency official tells a House panel.
- “At this point in time, there are no federal civilian agencies that are confirmed to be compromised by this campaign,” Eric Goldstein, CISA’s executive assistant director for cybersecurity, tells the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security
- Goldstein says CISA is still in the early days of review of the breach that Microsoft has attributed to Chinese hackers, calling it an “evolving campaign, with new information coming in by the hour”
