Meta Says Temporarily Paused Some Hiring at AI Unit for Planning

Meta has temporarily paused some hiring while it does “planning and forecasting,” and structures its new superintelligence efforts, spokesperson Andy Stone says in a X post.

• Comes after bringing a number of new people on board, Stone says
• Stone was responding to a WSJ report saying Meta has frozen hiring in its artificial intelligence division
