McKinsey’s Sternfels Says AI Can Help Save New Hires’ Jobs

McKinsey & Co.’s new hires don’t have to fear losing their jobs to artificial intelligence as long as they learn how to use it to their advantage, according to the firm’s global managing partner.

AI technology should make consultants “superhuman, not superfluous,” Bob Sternfels said in a Bloomberg Television interview Tuesday, adding that he advises new hires to use AI tools to free up time for more complex tasks. “There will always be something more aspirational that our clients want to tackle.”
