Intuit to Spend Over $100 Million on OpenAI Models in New Deal

Intuit Inc. will spend more than $100 million on a multiyear contract with OpenAI to further weave the ChatGPT maker’s artificial intelligence models into financial apps like TurboTax.

In addition to the new spending commitment, Intuit will offer applications inside ChatGPT that let users access and interact with financial data stored within Intuit’s platform. The companies announced the expanded partnership Tuesday.
