Google Ventures, Khosla Back Legal Tech Genie’s Funding Round

Genie AI, a legal technology startup that makes software for contract drafting and review, raised $17.8 million in Series A funding led by Google Ventures and Khosla Ventures, it said Wednesday.

The investment brings Genie’s total funding to over $20 million, building on government grants and previous seed funding led by Connect Ventures, it said. Genie will use the new funding to enhance its agentic legal editor and expand in the US, it said.
