Google, Microsoft Compete in Pentagon’s AI Cybersecurity Project

The US Defense Department is enlisting Alphabet Inc.’s Google, Microsoft Corp., OpenAI Inc. and Anthropic in a two-year competition to use artificial intelligence to develop code for protecting government software from cyber attacks.
