The Federal Trade Commission is weighing whether to dismiss or modify an order that barred a spyware company and its CEO from selling and promoting surveillance apps and services.
A 2021 FTC order settling a complaint against Support King LLC, which did business as Spyfone and its chief executive Scott Zuckerman, required the company to delete information that was allegedly obtained illegally and allowed stalkers and domestic abuses to track data such as a live locations.
