Ernst & Young is tapping Microsoft Corp. artificial intelligence tools to give its tax professionals a technological edge, it said Wednesday.
The Big Four accounting firm is incorporating the Azure OpenAI Service, Power Platform and other Microsoft technologies into its EY Fabric, the technology that underpins the EY Tax platforms, used by more than 1.5 million tax professionals around the world.
- Generative AI, which operates from simple commands or questions, will make the tax platform’s advanced functions more accessible to the firm’s 75,000 users, it said.
