Data Stands in Way of Using Generative AI on Global Minimum Tax
A mismatch between generative AI’s potential and its current data limitations will affect companies and their advisers as they seek to leverage the tool to reduce the global minimum tax compliance burden and associated costs.
The global minimum tax is a “top-up” tax meant to levy a 15% minimum on multinational companies in every country where they operate. The rules are voluminous, complicated, and require a company to collect over 270 data points per entity.
