China’s AI Rise Flagged as Risk as US Lacks a Federal Framework

Nimble and effective systems built by Chinese firms are threatening the US lead in artificial intelligence, technology experts warned Tuesday in a subcommittee hearing in which they lamented the absence of a federal AI framework.
