BE Semiconductor Rides AI Wave on Hopes Apple to Use Its Tech

Shares of BE Semiconductor Industries NV soared on Wednesday after analysts wrote that Apple Inc. could adopt the chip-equipment firm’s technology as soon as next year.

Apple’s next-generation M5 series processors may use a new architecture that relies on the Dutch firm’s hybrid bonding tools, according to Morgan Stanley analysts, who raised their price target to the highest among 22 Wall Street brokers tracking the stock.
