Allen & Overy, the global law firm that is merging with Shearman & Sterling, is rolling out an AI-based contracting tool for clients “and wider market use.”
The tool, called ContractMatrix, “uses AI and other techniques to free lawyers from processing and allows them to focus on strategic questions,” the firm said Thursday. It said the tool can save lawyers up to seven hours in negotiating a contract.
