Accenture CEO Says Countries Need Data Centres for Sovereign AI

Data centers should be a key part of governments’ race to adopt artificial intelligence, according to Accenture Plc Chief Executive Officer Julie Sweet.

“You have to think about it long term. I think the mistake somehow some people are making is this isn’t about the data center today, it’s about a strategy,” Sweet said in a Bloomberg Television interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos. “We’re helping countries do that, particularly as you think of sovereign AI and the need to have the data centers to support that.”
