In its biggest antitrust challenge yet, Alphabet Inc.’s Google is being sued by the US Justice Department and state attorneys general in a case that could result in the breakup of the 25-year-old company. A monopolization trial bundling the two suits that began Sept. 12 is the first pitting the federal government against a US technology company in more than two decades.
