HostGPO Solutions Inc., which runs a platform for buying vacation rental furnishings, was sued in federal court by a rival that claims it prohibits furniture suppliers from dealing with its competitors.
Plaintiff Minoan Experience Inc. alleges that HostGPO forces suppliers into illegal exclusive contracts that extend past their end date, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey. Minoan also accuses HostGPO of cybersquatting on the domain Minoan.ca.
