US Nuclear Companies Hit With Employee Wage Suppression Suit (1)

A proposed class of hundreds of thousands of employees sued Constellation Energy Corp., Dominion Energy Inc., and other major nuclear power generation companies for allegedly working together to illegally limit compensation for their workers.

“The explicit purpose of this coordination was to avoid paying higher-than-necessary compensation to employees,” said the proposed class action filed July 11 in the US District Court for the District of Maryland.

“Defendants’ scheme harmonized compensation to Class Members across the nuclear power industry and thus reduced the incentives for Class Members to switch employment between Nuclear Defendants or coconspirators,” the complaint says. ...
