More than a dozen attorneys general joined US lawmakers and others in pushing the Supreme Court to end Major League Baseball’s antitrust immunity, arguing the exemption harms competition.
Connecticut Attorney General William Tong on Monday announced a bipartisan coalition of 18 attorneys general urging the high court to hear a challenge to the baseball antitrust exemption. The attorneys general from states including Virginia, Indiana, Arizona, New York, and New Jersey filed their amicus brief Monday.
