Ultimate Fighting Championship’s $335 million settlement with fighters in a wage dispute has been denied by a Nevada federal judge who had expressed concerns about the proposed deal.
Judge Richard F. Boulware of the US District Court for the District of Nevada on Tuesday rejected a motion to preliminarily approve a deal that would provide UFC fighter members of two classes with payouts that constitute significant shares of their lifetime earnings from the organization.
No reasoning was given, but Boulware said a separate written order with reasoning will come later.
