U.K.’s CMA Asks For Remedies for YPO’s Purchase of Findel

The U.K.’s Competition and Markets Authority provisionally found that YPO’s anticipated purchase of close competitor Findel could leave schools worse off, according to a statement.

  • Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation and Findel Education Ltd. are two of the leading suppliers of educational resources in the U.K. supplying stationery, furniture, and art and science materials to educational institutions, such as schools and nurseries, according to the CMA
  • All interested parties now have until Oct. 30 to submit views on possible remedies to address the CMA’s concerns, which may include blocking the deal
