U.K. Orders Viagogo to Partially Unwind $4 Billion StubHub Deal

Viagogo must partially unwind its $4 billion StubHub acquisition and sell the ticketing marketplace operations everywhere outside the U.S., British antitrust authorities said in their first significant intervention since Brexit.

The Competition and Markets Authority said Tuesday that the transaction means both resellers and ticket buyers would face higher fees. Viagogo completed its purchase of StubHub from EBay Inc. just under a year ago.
