A group of California taxpayers filed the proposed class action Tuesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California, alleging Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc. marketed the Toyota Mirai hydrogen fueled car as environmentally friendly when it’s not; excluded hydrogen stations from entering the hydrogen retail car market; and illicitly obtained state taxpayer funds for hydrogen in violation of antitrust law.
