A Senate panel unanimously voted to advance a trio of nominees to the Federal Trade Commission, bringing the agency one step closer to a full complement of commissioners.
The Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation on Wednesday voted in support of Melissa Holyoak and Andrew Ferguson—both Republican nominees—to fill the party’s vacant seats at the top of the agency. Senators also greenlit the renomination of Rebecca Kelly Slaughter, a Democratic commissioner who’s served in the role since 2018.
