Tempur Sealy, Corsicana Win Bid to Toss Mattress Monopoly Suit

Tempur Sealy International Inc. and Corsicana Mattress Co. are among a group of mattress businesses released from claims they maintained a monopoly in the industry after a federal judge tossed a suit brought by a rival.

Judge David Barlow of the US District Court for the District of Utah in a opinion filed Wednesday granted the mattress companies’ motions to dismiss, saying plaintiff CVB Inc. failed to allege an antitrust conspiracy.
