Tech Antitrust Report Expected in Month, Rep. Cicilline Says

House Judiciary Antitrust panel Chairman David Cicilline tells reporters he expects a year-long report on large tech antitrust issues to be completed in about a month.

  • Cicilline, Rhode Island Democrat, says the report is likely to be done by the end of August or early September
  • The House panel’s report is analyzing potential anti-competitive behaviors at Amazon, Apple, Google and Facebook
  • The heads of those companies are testifying before a subcommittee hearing today
