Target, Aramark, Wendy’s Join Pork Industry Price-Fixing Fight

Three more companies—Target Corp., Aramark Food and Support Services Group Inc., and Wendy’s Co. affiliate Quality Supply Chain Co-Op—are suing big pork producers and industry data provider Agri Stats Inc. for their alleged collusion to fix prices and manipulate the market.

The lawsuits, filed Friday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York, allege that meat production giants, such as Tyson Foods Inc. and Hormel Foods Corp., exchanged detailed and competitively sensitive information through Agri Stats’ platforms.
