Syngenta, Corteva Win Bid to Nix Crop Input Antitrust Litigation

Corteva Inc. and Syngenta are among a group of agricultural giants that convinced a federal judge to dismiss multidistrict litigation alleging they conspired to fix the price of crop chemical products.

Judge Sarah E. Pitlyk of the US District for the Eastern District of Missouri granted the companies’ motion to dismiss in a Sept. 13 opinion, saying farmer plaintiffs failed to plead a boycott conspiracy.
