Switzerland’s top administrative court has upheld a 7.03 million Swiss franc ($7 million) fine levied against SIX Group AG by the country’s competition watchdog over its dominant behavior as a processor of card transactions.
“The unlawful conduct particularly relates to refusal of business relations and the use of a tie-in transaction to the detriment of other terminal manufacturers and merchants,” the Swiss Federal Administrative Court said May 21 in a ruling.
