South Africa President Appoints Adviser on Investment Promotion

South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa appointed Alistair Ruiters as special adviser on investment promotion as the government implements economic reforms aimed at attracting more capital.

Ruiters will counsel Ramaphosa on the country’s continuing investment drive, the presidency said in a statement on Wednesday.

“Government is implementing a broad range of economic reforms aimed at rendering South Africa more attractive and rewarding for domestic and international investors, advancing greater diversification of the economy, and broadening South Africa’s integration into continental and global supply chains,” it said.
