Sika, Saint-Gobain Face Concrete Price-Fixing Antitrust Suits

Building materials producers Sika AG and Cie. de Saint-Gobain SA are among several European companies facing a pair of antitrust suits that allege they fixed the price of cement, concrete, and mortar used in construction projects.

M&D Peterson LLC, a New York company that purchased supplies from one or more of the defendants, and Keystone Concrete Block & Supply Co. of Pennsylvania have each filed proposed class actions against the European firms in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
