SignatureMD Sued Over Alleged Scheme to ‘Crush’ Startup (1)

Signature MD Inc. was hit with federal antitrust claims in Los Angeles over an alleged scheme by its chief executive to “crush” a “fledgling” rival through malicious sham litigation over his “personal vendetta” against the ex-employee who founded the competing startup.

The lawsuit, filed Feb. 3, targets the company—a leader in the “concierge medicine” support service industry—and CEO Matthew A. Jacobson, who allegedly battered Longeviti Health LLC and Daniel S. Gladstone with “egregious” and “abusive” court cases stemming from a years-old grudge.
