Senators Question Skydance CEO Over Trump, Paramount Merger

Senators question Skydance Media CEO David Ellison about a “reported secret side deal with President Trump” to settle Trump’s lawsuit against CBS and get approval for the Paramount Global’s pending merger with Skydance, in a letter published Monday.

• Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Ron Wyden write to Ellison
• The senators ask Ellison about any payment arrangement Skydance might have with Trump and say they want to look into whether that would comply with anti-bribery laws
