Sedgwick Hit With Proposed Class Action Over No-Poach Agreements

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. is being sued in federal court by a former employee who alleges the insurance services provider engaged in illegal no-poach deals that restrained employee mobility.

Plaintiff Mamnoon Khan claims he was unable to secure a substantially higher-paying position with a different company due to a secret “no-poach” agreement that business had with Sedgwick, according to a proposed class action filed Dec. 20 in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
