Sandoz, Pfizer Denied Bid to End Generic Drug Price-Fixing Case

Sandoz Inc. and Pfizer Inc. are among 26 pharmaceutical companies that failed to convince a federal judge to end litigation accusing them of fixing the price of generic drugs used to treat skin ailments, inching the case toward trial.

Judge Michael P. Shea of the US District Court for the District of Connecticut denied the defendant drugmakers’ bid for a judgment on an important threshold issue: whether an overarching conspiracy was properly alleged.
