Realtors Group Sued by Technology Firm Over Alleged Boycott (1)

The National Association of Realtors is facing a new suit alleging it and other industry players boycotted a Utah-based real estate technology firm seeking to compete with discounted brokerage services nationwide.

Plaintiff Homie Technology Inc., which offers lower cost brokerage services to both sellers and buyers, accused NAR and and other defendants of enforcing exclusionary rules that boycotted its services and injured the firm. The allegations were made in a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Utah.
