RealPage Accused by Kentucky of Algorithmic Price-Fixing (1)

Kentucky’s attorney general sued RealPage Inc. on Wednesday, alleging it colluded with property managers to inflate the price of rental units via algorithm, the latest jurisdiction to sue the software company with rent collusion claims.

RealPage is also facing antitrust litigation from the Justice Department and several states including California, North Carolina, Colorado, and Tennessee. Washington, D.C., brought similar claims in 2023.

Private plaintiffs first sued the company in 2022 and their cases were consolidated into multidistrict litigation in Tennessee.
